Narrative- The advert starts with the purple backdrop which associates with the Cadbury's Chocolate and the words "A glass and a half full production" and moves to a gorilla getting ready to play on the drums. The gorilla then starts playing the drum to the song Phil Collins- In the air tonight. The gorilla continues to play to the song.

Slogan- "A glass and a haf full of joy. Productions" This was shown at the begining of the advert with a purple background behind it. This slogan is saying that you will enjoy having this product.

Why is this so popular? This advert is succesful due to the memorable gorilla in the advert. With the advert being so unusual and different it makes the audience watch it even more. The advert is humorous as the gorilla playing drums is very unlikely.

Camera Work- Pan shot was used when moving fom the purple backdrop and the words "A glass and a half full production" over to a Extreme close up of the gorilla's eyes. There is then Extreme close up of the gorilla's nostrils to emphaise how realistic the gorilla was and also to help gives clue on what the advert will be about. Once the music beat drops in zooms out to give a from a close up to a medium shot so you are able to see the studio in the background. The backdrop being purple due to it being the same colour as the chocolate packaging. Another camera shot they used was a long shot this is to get the whole of the setting in and to get a full view of the gorilla playing on the drums. At the end of the advert the is shown to it is the last thing you remember in the advert. In the advert cuts are used to cut from one shot to another to a change of impact. At the end of the advert the video is edited so the frame fades from the studio to a plain purple background where the product is revealed.

Location- The location is based in a small studio with a purple backdrop to stay in the theme of Cadbury. The setting consists of a drum set, speakers and mic and lighting stand. With there not being too much crops in the setting of the adverts help viewer to stay focused on the gorilla and what he is doing.

Sound- Diegetic sound is what sounds are actually in the frame and Non- diegetic are sounds that have been placed over the frame for example voice-overs, sound effect e.g explosion noises or music tracks. In this advert both Diegetic and Non-Diegetic sounds are used. The drum that are being played could be both non/diegetic sound and the song Phil Collins- In the air tonight track has been placed over the top of the advert.

Target Audience:  This advert could be aimed more to an older target market, this is due to the Phill Collins song being played, with this song being one of the main features of the advert is has been carefull choice to suit the target market. This is song was popular back in the day so more of the older generation will know of this song. This will draw the older audience in to watch the advert. An obvious target audience is going to be people who eat Cadbury chocolate products.
